[ADN] Aerodrome Notices
Aerodrome Notices are issued by the Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) to circulate information, procedures and policies relating to aerodromes. It is relevant to aerodrome operators and intending aerodrome operators.

The following Civil Aviation Directives should be read in conjunction with Part 23 of the Civil Aviation (Safety) Regulations, 2017. Technical standards once incorporated are effective and applicable as amended (unless stated otherwise)
- The intent of the Civil Aviations Directives is to advise the aviation industry on the reference of the technical standards and the amendment status at the time of incorporation
- The Civil Aviation Directives may not necessarily refer to the latest amendment status which may be effective and should not be utilised to verify the amendment status of such technical standards. Operators should consult the relevant published document(s) for such information.

Notice of Proposed Amendments
Notice of proposed amendments are published to notify the aviation industry of proposed changes in technical standards and provide them with the opportunity to provide comments on the proposed changes.

The control and assessment of obstacles are essential to ensuring the continued safety of aircraft operations and compliance with national and international aviation requirements. This process applies specifically to aerodrome operators who are responsible for identifying, assessing, and reporting obstacles that may affect aerodrome operations.
All obstacle application packages must be submitted to the SCAA obstacles email address: obstacles@scaa.sc
The obstacle application package must include (but is not limited to):
- Completed SCAA obstacle application forms
- Google Earth KMZ/KML file
- PANS OPS, CNS, ATM assessment report (if applicable)
- Annex 14 Obstacle limitation surfaces (OLS) Obstacles Assessment Report
- Other relevant supporting documents (such as engineering drawings, etc…)
Processing Timeline:
Once an obstacle application package is received by SCAA, an acknowledgement will be sent to confirm receipt. The application will then undergo an initial screening to ensure that all required information and supporting documents have been provided.
If the submission is found to be incomplete, the applicant will be promptly notified and requested to provide the missing information before further processing can continue.
Following successful screening, the application will be assessed in detail. This process, which includes the review of technical reports and supporting data, will normally be completed within (7) working days.
Upon completion of the oversight process, the outcome of the application including any decisions, recommendations, or required actions will be formally communicated to the applicant.
