We are seeking to appoint responsible, dedicated and hardworking Seychellois for the following positions:

1. Position: Aerodrome Safety Inspector
Job Summary:
- Audits and inspections of aerodromes, aerodrome operator facilities, procedures and records periodically to assess if standards are adequately maintained
- Assess Aerodrome Manuals as well as other relevant documents for approval
- Carry out Aerodrome safety oversight audits
- Supports the Head Aerodromes Safety and Standards in assessing applications for Aerodrome certificates.
Minimum Entry requirements:
- 3 years’ experience as Air Traffic Controller, or relevant experience in Flight Operations.

2. Position: Flight Operations Inspector
Job Summary:
- Surveying operators’ facilities, periodic auditing of operator procedures and flight operation records to assess if standards are adequately maintained.
- Assess Operations Manuals, aircraft Minimum Equipment Lists and other relevant documents for approval.
- Carry out flight operations safety oversight audits of foreign operators.
- Provide support to the Head Flight Operations in assessing applications for special operations (ETOPS, RVSM, RNP).

Minimum Entry requirements:
- Hold or have held a civilian Professional Pilot’s Licence (CPL/ATPL) with appropriate type rating(s) (DHC6, B200, D228, A320, A330 & etc.).
- 3 years as a professional pilot and 3000 flight hours
- Working knowledge of relevant ICAO Annexes and EASA AIR OPS

3. Position: Manager Project Implementation Unit
Job Summary:
- Provide oversight of all capital project processes ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that may apply
- Ensure compliance of procurement processes & procedure
- Ensure contractor performance, quality of project deliverables and value for
- money
- Lead project coordination meetings with relevant stakeholders as required to ensure smooth project
- Prepare and manage the units budget, including all aspect of the units human resource needs
- Compile and administer the Organization capital project expenditure
Entry Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent industrial qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in managing complex capital projects requiring coordination with multiple contractors.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Project Management procurement laws, supply chain management, projects cash-flow management, Quality Assurance
- Planning. Lead, Organize, Team Leadership & Decision Making

4. Position: Airport Civil Engineer
Job Summary:
- Assist the state civil aviation authority (CAA) in the evaluation and approved of the design reviews prepared by Consultants.
- Supervise the execution of foundation works for the runway and terminal building structures.
- Prepare reports which will serve as a basis for a proposal for rehabilitation and future development of the airports
- Directly oversee the supply chain and delivery of materials.
- Develop and train the national counterpart in the project activities, the design of review work, the supervision and the contractor’s administration works.
Entry Requirements:
- University degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualification
- 5 years’ experience in construction management, supervision, planning and programming.

5. Position: Quantity Surveyor
Job Summary:
- Manages all costs relating to building, engineering and other projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.
- Active involvement in all projects from the start, preparing estimates and costs of the work and keep track of any variation to the contract that may affect costs and create required reports.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities;
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
- Assist in establishing SCAA’s project requirements and undertake feasibility studies;
- Perform risk, value management and cost control;
- Advise on a procurement strategy;
Entry Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying with at least two years practical experience.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- A practical and logical mind and a methodical way of thinking;
- A creative and innovative approach to problem solving;
- Strong numeracy and financial management skills and the ability to learn sophisticated design and costing;

 

6. Position: Project Officer

Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of a project right through to final implementation. Participate actively as project team member to improve department efficiency, reduce costs, and assist in improvement of product development. Provide report regularly to Maintenance Manager on the progress of project development and ensure all work is completed to specification, as per the project plan.
Minimum Requirement:
Education:
- Diploma in Construction or related field.
- Draughtsman certificate is a plus.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Class 2 driving license.

7. Position: Aviation Safety Officer (Aerodrome Operations)
Job Summary:
- Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the SCAA ISMS program and ensuring that the safety program elements of SCAA ISMS are carried out by monitoring safety issues, providing safety education, investigating incidents and accidents, providing guidance on safety matters, monitoring compliance with SCAA Safety management procedures and working with Aviation Safety Manager to make recommendations for continuous improvement of SCAA Integrated Safety Management Systems (ISMS).
Minimum Qualification:
- Diploma in an Aviation related field and at least 5 years’ experience in Airport Operations and/or Air Navigation Services and/or Airline Business

8. Position: Human Resources Officer (AVSEC)

Job Summary:
Undertake human resource duties and activities for the Aviation Security Division which includes Recruitment, performance management, disciplinary issues, employee Relation, compensations and benefits management.
Entry requirements:
- Diploma in Human Resource or relevant field plus at least 3 years relevant experience
- Strong computer skills and conversant with Employment Act & Modern HR practices
- Sound interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
